Booking Policy
By booking a service with Mane Krown Studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help ensure a respectful, professional, and efficient experience for all clients.
Appointments are released monthly, opening on the 15th of the previous month (for example, July bookings open on June 15). A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied to your final balance but is not transferable or refundable under any circumstance. Failure to submit a deposit within the time requested will result in cancellation of your appointment.
We ask that any cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 75% of the service total. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in a charge of 95% of the service total. Missed or cancelled appointments due to late arrival (beyond 20 minutes) will also be charged 95%, and future appointments may require full prepayment.
There is a 15-minute grace period for all appointments. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, and the 95% late cancellation fee will apply. Repeated lateness may result in your inability to book future services.
To maintain a calm and safe environment, no extra guests are permitted during your appointment. Children under the age of 15 receiving a service may be accompanied by one parent or caregiver. For adult appointments, children and additional guests are not permitted to wait in the studio unless previously discussed and approved. If you arrive with an unapproved guest or child, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
Clients must arrive with clean, detangled, and blow-dried straight hair unless a wash/blow-dry is included or added to the booked service. Hair that is not properly prepared will result in a $25+ preparation fee or may require rescheduling, at the stylist’s discretion. If your hair is not washed, the appointment will be cancelled. Please ensure your hair is at least four (4) inches long all around for braid services.
Recording (video or audio) by the client is not allowed during services without written permission from the stylist. Mane Krown Studio may record or photograph your hair before, during, or after service for portfolio, educational, or promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, your face will be excluded—please notify the stylist before your appointment begins.
While we use high-quality products and take precautions to accommodate sensitivities, Mane Krown Studio is not responsible for any allergic reactions or adverse effects resulting from products used during services. Clients are responsible for disclosing all known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to service.
For services lasting six (6) hours or more, a complimentary meal will be provided. Please indicate any dietary restrictions at the time of booking. All services in the Royal Youth Collection include a healthy snack for children.
Accepted payment methods include cash (preferred), e-transfer, or terminal-based card payments. Please ensure your card is functional and supported. Processing fees may apply to card payments.
Mane Krown Studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who fails to comply with studio policies, behaves disrespectfully, appears under the influence, or poses a safety or hygiene concern. By booking with Mane Krown Studio, you acknowledge and accept all terms outlined above.
